July 24-28

 

Monday - Friday

 

8:00 AM – 11:30 AM               REPORT TO BAND ROOM (Band, Percussion, Auxiliary)

 

    • Roll Call

 

    • Welcome*

 

    • Handbook*

 

    • Introduction of Instructors*

 

    • Marching Basics/Drill – Practice Field

 

 

 

11:30 AM- 1:00 PM             LUNCH       **You may leave for lunch or bring your own. Lunch will NOT be provided. There will be a parent at the school during lunch break to supervise those students who stay.**

 

1:00 PM- 3:00 PM        SECTIONALS      (Band, Percussion, Auxiliary)

 

    • Roll Call                                                       

 

    • Music rehearsals by sections

 

                                     

 

3:00 PM- 3:15 PM        BREAK

 

    • Restroom

 

    • Water/Snack (Bring your own or buy one from Ms. Holly)

 

 

 

3:15 PM- 4:30 PM       WHOLE BAND REHEARSAL

 

    • Roll Call

 

    • Music rehearsal with entire band (Auxiliary report to band room @ 4:15)

 

 

 

4:30 PM- 6:00 PM        DINNER    **You may leave for dinner or bring your own. Dinner will NOT be provided. There will be a parent at the school during dinner break to supervise those students who stay.**

 

6:00 PM- 9:00 PM        DRILL PRACTICE          (Band, Percussion, Auxiliary)

 

    • Roll Call

 

    • Drill Practice- Practice Field

**We will follow this basic schedule throughout the whole week of band camp. Any time changes will be announced.**

 

**On Wednesday, we will break at 5:00pm and will not return until Thursday AM.**

 

**Friday-Group Picture for football program. Time will be announced.**

BRING YOUR OWN WATER, TOWELS, GATORADE AND LUNCH MONEY.

 

NO PARENTS, FRIENDS, SYBLINGS, ETC. ARE ALLOWED!

 

CAMP IS CLOSED TO EVERYONE EXCEPT MILLER COUNTY BAND AUXILIARY MEMBERS!

 

 

 

EARLY RELEASE IS A POSSIBILITY IF PROGRESS IS MADE AND COMPLETED.

 

 

 

THE GOAL IS TO EDUCATE, TRAIN, CONDITION AND LEARN ALL HALFTIME ROUTINES PRIOR TO BAND CAMP THE FOLLOWING WEEK (JULY 24-28).
