Mrs. Holly Thomas is currently pursuing her 23rd year of teaching. She began her teaching career in special education but later became certified in music education.  In 2007, she became the Miller County Elementary Chorus Director and General Music Teacher. She has been the Director of Bands for the Miller County Middle/High School since the 2010-2011 school year.


Mrs. Holly Thomas is a 1991 graduate of Miller County High School.  She received her Bachelor's Degree in Education at Valdosta State University and her Master's Degree from Albany State University.  She began her teaching career in Miller County in 1995 as a Special Education Teacher.  In 2007, she became certified to teach music throughout the entire system.  In 2010, Mrs. Thomas became the Director of Bands at the Miller County Middle/High School.  She currently teaches general music to elementary students and instrumental music to middle and high school students.  She is also the music coach for the high school literary team.  Mrs. Thomas resides in Colquitt with her husband, Cory Thomas, and their children, Sydney and Judson.
